Job Description / Responsibility
• Prepare annual financial operation plan.
• Establish and Up-date financial policies, procedures/ systems/controls to implement the plan.
• Ensure Tax & VAT implications of all significant decisions are thoroughly examined.
• Responsible for Daily cash/fund management, Cost Control, accounts payable, VAT, Payroll & Payroll tax.
• Ensure all hotel licenses/permits are renewed on a timely basis.
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory and statutory requirements through liaison with banks and financial institutions
• Maintaining working arrangement with other Govt. official & authorities.
• Closely scrutinize funds transfer and cash disbursement protocols within the organization
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation`s between source records and control accounts.
• Monitoring and maintenance of recording and reporting fixed assets and related depreciation.
• Monitor performance of financial employees and recommend action to human resources department when necessary
• Regularly undertake internal audits, involving examination of the company?s accounts, analysis risk, inspecting the organization?s current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending improvements.
• To ensure that physical inventories of all supplies are being taken on a monthly basis and all operating equipments on a quarterly basis.

Educational Requirements
• M.Com in Accounting or Finance from any reputed National or Private University.
• Chartered Accountancy Course Completion (CACC) from a reputed CA firm would be given priority.

• At least 8 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hotel, Resort
Additional Job Requirements
• Age At least 38 year(s)
• 8+ years experience in a branded hotel/resort in or outside of Bangladesh.
• Minimum 3 years in similar position.
