Treasury Front & Back Office – Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited

Job Description / Responsibility
• Must have sound knowledge in treasury and financial markets, managing investment by participating in the money market and foreign exchange market to buy and sell foreign currency against foreign currency and/BDT on cash, TOM, spot or Forward, managing currency composition, NOSTRO funding and compliance with all pertaining laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Have thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, banking rules & regulations, practice & procedures of treasury operations, ALCO process, automated system etc along with compliance.
• Revision of counter party limits, dealers? limit, and stop loss limits with the approval of the competent authority.
• Shall have the capacity to formulate funding plan, capital plan and ensure prudent fund/liquidity management of the Bank.
• Monitoring of revaluation of assets and liabilities and other ancillary affairs of the division, etc.

Educational Requirements
Masters degree in any discipline, preferably in Commerce/ Business background from a recognized local or foreign university having no 3rd class/division or CGPA below 2.50 in any public examinations.

Additional Job Requirements
• Age 18 to 40 year(s)
• 3 to 6 years practical job experience in Treasury Operations/ Fund Management in any reputed Commercial Bank;
• Preference to be given to the candidates having working experience in centralized banking system;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills in Bangla & English;
• Must have sound knowledge and adequate skill of computer operations;
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking rules & regulations, practice & procedures.
• Adaptable and must be able to work independently under pressure.
