Job Description / Responsibility
• Major Responsibilities:
• The incumbent will be responsible person for accomplishment of Purchase & Procurement and Maintaining Asset and Inventory of the Organization.
• 1. Developing and maintaining data base of vendors for different items of purchase and procurement.
• 2. Conducting all purchase and procurement in line with organizational purchase and procurement policy.
• 3. Receiving purchase requisitions from various departments of organization.
• 4. Receiving quotations or tenders on the basis of purchase requisition.
• 5. Conducting market research for availing the best advantage on purchase.
• 6. Selection of suppliers/vendors on the basis of tenders or quotations.
• 7. Placing of orders with selected suppliers.
• 8. Follow up of actions for timely purchase and in time delivery.
• 9. Ensuring the materials as per the invoice and purchase order with reference to quality and quantity of materials.
• 10. Initiating for reviewing Purchase and Procurement Policy.
• 11. Developing a standard system of maintaining asset and inventory for the organization.
• 12. Conducting of regular monitoring of assets, updating inventory and perseveration of related documents.

Educational Requirements
• Masters Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management from any reputed Universities;
• Experiences:
• Minimum 5 years working experience as Purchase and Procurement or Inventory Officer in any development organization.
• Competence:
• The incumbent should bear the following competencies:
• 1. Sufficient knowledge and skill in computer mainly MS-word, Excel & internet browsing.
• 2. Good oral and written communication skills.
• 3. Understanding of an excellent standard of numeracy in order to analysis facts and figures.
• 4. A flair for negotiation and networking with venders.
• 5. Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
• 6. Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of deadline of delivery.
• 7. Knowledge on procedure of procurement, settlement of bills and various duties and taxes.
• 8. Knowledge on systematic maintaining assets and management of inventory of organization.
