Job Description / Responsibility
• Reports to: Division Manager QA/QC
• Job Purpose : Maintain the quality aspects of fabrics to ensure that the quality standards of the customers are met and our corporate targets are achieved.
• Key Result Areas:
• Review Chemical and physical test reports with fabric technician and manager and facilitate the decision-making process.
• Provide technical assistance for bulk fabric swatch approval
• Work with Suppliers & Merchandisers in the office on fabric quality issues for resolution
• Conduct In-house testing
• Providing technical advice and recommend corrective actions on fabric construction and limitation, etc. so that the quality of fabric can be improved.

• Independent Labs

Educational Requirements
B.Sc in Textile Engineering or Minimum Bachelor Degree.

Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience in technical fabric (apparel) aspect.
• Sound knowledge in the aspect of Fabric Processing which includes Spinning, Weaving/Knitting, Dyeing, Printing, Finishing, Washing and Testing.
• Sound knowledge in the aspect of Reach regulations and textile psychical testing
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bengali, plus good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills in terms of MS Exchange, Words and Excel.
