Job Description / Responsibility
The candidate must have extensive experience on all kinds of unforeseen repair/maintenance and trouble shooting on Power Generating Engines (Diesel/HFO fired) each unit of capacity 7MW and above including associated auxiliary machinery like Fuel and Lube Oil Centrifuges, all kinds of Pumps, Boilers, Valves, Steam System and Components etc.
Should have workshop knowledge and practice to make any mechanical item/tools as desired by the authority.
Comprehensive understanding on Schedule maintenance of the Engine and other machinery including proper record keeping of all such maintenance and repair both in computerized and registers.

Educational Requirements
B.Sc. on Mechanical/ Marine Engineering from any Public or reputed Private Engineering University with CGPA not less than 2.9 having at least 3 years hands-on experience respectively on mechanical maintenance of Power Plant machinery. Or, Diploma in Marine/ Mechanical/ Power from any government Institute having at least 5 years hands-on experience respectively on power plant machinery.

Knack and habit of consulting the corresponding Manuals of machinery for the trouble shooting and maintenance.
Total computer literacy to work on both Words and Excel Files, and friendly to work on Internet and Email correspondences.
Must have the aptitude to instantly attend any unforeseen breakdown at any time of the day and work beyond working hours if necessary.
Higher experience with exceptionally competent candidates may be given with higher posts with befitting salary packages.
