Data Administrator / Data Entry Operator – Dhaka – International Committee of the Red Cross

Job Context
• Department: Protection
• Starting date: Immediately
• The Data Admin/Data Entry Operator will be working under the direct supervision and guidance of the Protection Coordinator.

Job Description / Responsibility
• Performs various data processing on computer mainly independently.
• Performs internal and external follow-up of individual cases
• Carries out translations
• Ensures follow-up and updates of specific files/databases.
• Ensures colleagues involved in the file perform the required tasks
• Ensures support to the Detention Team with regards to data processing and performs certain updates such as Notifications of foreign nationals, creation of family contacts and detention histories when required
• Contributes to drafting/establishing relevant Procedures / Guideline / Workflows

Educational Requirements
Relevant academic background: the candidate will be graduated from a reputed College/University in administration, information management, social sciences or a related field and/or data management experience in development sectors.

Experience Requirements
• At least 4 year(s)

Job Requirements
• Work experience: minimum 04 years of proven professional experience in similar as administrator in development sectors.
• Languages: excellent in spoken and written English and Bengali.
• Computer skills: excellent computer skills, inclusive of mastering Office Suite tools (Excel, Words, Power-point), data management
• Other skills: Capacity to work independently, confirmed skills in adult’s training an asset, data analytics and data visualization
• Personal qualities for the positions
• Have an excellent sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Excellent capacity to work independently and/or with minimal supervision, respecting the established framework;
• Capacity to define priorities.
• Capacity of adaptation, to work in team in a multicultural environment.

• Marked Interest for new technologies.
• Capacities of auto-training and integration of new tools and methodologies.
