Job Description / Responsibility
• Develop and implement technology initiatives to support Guardian Life Insurance Limited`s initiatives and profitability goals.
• Assist in computing and information technology, strategic planning, policies and programs.
• Ensure the integrity of computer servers, network communications and management information services.
• Integrate and maintain multiple software environments and portal development.
• Partner with top managements and recommend quality technological solutions, which are able to enhance performance and revenue targets.
• Ensure that IT controls are in place. Manage and maintain proper procedures for protecting possible losses of information and asset.
• Support to formulate and implement company IT policies implementing global IT standards.
• Develop awareness among the users of these IT policies and standards.
• Coordinate with IT vendors / service providers to deliver goods and services as per agreed service level agreements.
• Assist in overall IT procurement and IT inventory function of the company.
• LAN & WAN setup and maintenance, VPN setup, manage & maintenances of Company`s networking system, server, switch, and router. Software hosting in windows server, mail server configure & maintenance, software setup and manage troubleshooting of Laptop & other computer devices.
• Any other relevant activity as advised by management.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor`s or Diploma in Engineering degree from an accredited university/ Institute in computer science/ computer engineering.
Additional Job Requirements
• Age 22 to 40 year(s)
• Strong knowledge in networking, software installation and troubleshooting, Active directory, FTP server, database server, software hosting, VPN.
• Minimum (01) year experience in network setup & maintenance in any financial institution`s IT department.
• Able to configure & setup of Mail server, FTP server, active directory, software hosting, server, manageable switch & router.
• Strong communication skills and techno-functional leadership.
• Experience in IT Purchase/Vendor Management/Cost effective Procurement.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Good leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a team.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Thorough experience in variety of functions including administration department, front-line businesses and operations.
• Hard headed leadership skills to effectively manage lead and motivate a diverse team.
