Job Description / Responsibility
• looking for a passionate hands-on Java Big data Senior developer who will work with other team members for design and implementation of high performance scalable of big data solutions
• The practitioner should be able to perform in a fast paced startup environment, learn new technologies.
• Adopt agile development best practices with a strong commitment towards quick turnaround time.
• Great team player and experience with onsite/offsite environment.
• Willing to relocate onsite for long term and short term assignments.
• Strong verbal written communication skills
• Prior experience with machine to machine IoT, RFID/sensor integration, PLC scada control systems a big plus.
• Strong experience in design and development with Java persistence/ hibernate, API, core Java, Map reduce, Hadoop.
• Experience with SQL, Pl/Sal, and integration with java applications
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, Spark and Hadoop
• Experience on one or more frameworks in hive, impala, Cassandra etc.
• Experience with R, WEKA, Shark, Mahoot a big plus
