Job Description / Responsibility
• The incumbent will be based at the plant Chhatak, Sunamgonj, Sylhet and will report to the Chemist. The incumbent will be responsible for the following jobs:
• Follow and established sampling and quality control procedures for analysis of materials
• Ensure samples are representative and collected at appropriate time intervals and sample preparation is proper and adequate
• Ensure characteristics and properties of all the material samples are prepared timely and reliably, as per plant quality manual / plan
• Carry out and maintain records of all the Physical, chemical and Mechanical determination as described in the plant quality control plan and in accordance with local regulatory standards.
• Inspect sampling and preparation equipment and do the cleaning & maintenance (to prevent contamination incident etc.)
• Follow safe work rules and practices, as defined by company’s safety and health policy

M.Sc in chemistry (Inorganic/ Physical)/ B.Sc in Chemistry from reputed university.

• Sound knowledge on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Field level measurement & handling portable environment monitoring equipment
• Knowledge on Safety rules and regulations
