• Design and implement client or server technologies and features
• Understand client requirements and overall software design
• Assist with software testing and quality assurance on an as needed basis
• Learn new technologies and improve software development skills
• Other specific responsibilities depending on ongoing projects in the assigned development team

Additional Job Requirements
• Good understanding and knowledge of object-oriented programming and algorithms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Dedicated, responsible and able to work under pressure to meet deadline
• Willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work with different types of technologies including web, database and desktop application development
• GNU/Linux experience will be considered as an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven evidence of programming interest (activities in programming contests are highly appreciated)
