Job Description / Responsibility
• Promote the development of teamwork and collective responsibility in order to ensure the most effective teaching and learning for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders including those who may also have a range of other special educational needs.
• Maintain liaison closely with Education, Health and Social Services, and other relevant services and agencies in the statutory and voluntary sector as necessary.
• Help teachers to assess autistic students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop IEP.
• Follow up the teachers for implementation of IEP.
• Update IEPs to reflect students’ progress and goals.
• Develop and sustain a positive philosophy in the School in which individuals feel valued and where personal endeavor and responsibility are encouraged.
• Ensure that the School environment is well maintained.
• Supervise the Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Assistant who work with disable students.
• Look after overall administrative affairs of the school and its overall operations.
• Provide report on the students’ progress, successes and potential action points of the Bashundhara Special Children Foundation to the Management time to time.
• Any other tasks as & when assigned by the Management of the Autism School.

Job Nature
Full-time

Educational Requirements
M.S.Ed./B.S.Ed. from any reputed University / Institution. The candidate should have 10 years of teaching experience in any Autism School.

Experience Requirements
• At least 10 year(s)

Job Requirements
• Should have disability related training specially on Visual, Speech & Hearing, Intellectual and Autistic.
• Should have practical experience in teaching to the autism students.
• Should have well exposure to teach & nursing the Autistic Students.
