Job Description / Responsibility
• Ensure construction material quality & quantity control.
• Support and document tender activities for consulting tenders in all phases of the tender process.
• Prepare construction contract drafts including general terms
• Support contract negotiations with consultants and contractors
• Monitor project progress and verify (partial and complete) consulting & construction contract fulfillment in terms of scope, completeness, quality and timely delivery
• Manage payment schedules and recommend payment approvals
• Carry out site valuations to prepare progress claims
• Liaise with NSC and DSC at site
• Prepare payment certificates for contractors
• Verify the validity of contractors’ variation order claims
• Prepare supporting documents of variation order to client for variation works
• Compilation of variation orders for submission of Final Account
• Assisting the Project Manager in contract administration matters
• Prepare documents in the event of dispute arises from Final Account
• Establish and manage contractor and supplier warranty contracts.
• Prepare tenders, measurement and preparation of bills of quantities and quotations for both civil and building projects
• Source for suppliers and subcontractors for quotations for tendering
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Verify code compliance of all consulting, construction and supplier contracts
• Effectively document and file construction projects
• Report directly to Project Manager

Additional Job Requirements
• Age 27 to 40 year(s)
• Min 3-10 years experience in construction contract management or real estate development
• Familiar with international standard consulting and construction contracts:- FIDIC, JCT, NEC, AIA
• Familiar with regulations, local standard consulting and construction contracts in Bangladesh
• Familiar with GC/NSC/DC tendering
• Experience in Negotiation/Adjudication advantageous
