Job Description / Responsibility
A multinational company (www.cmt.mu ) is looking for some energetic personnel in the position of Manager: Engineer & Maintenance:
Supervising, monitoring & managing the works on a routine basis & be a team leader.
Ensuring employee technical training, preventive maintenance, repair, facilities maintenance, all machine processes, environmental and building security issues are addressed on a timely and proactive basis.
Monitors completion of job assignments through frequent field observation and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and instruction and revises instructions and time frames as necessary.
Need to oversee the budget, schedule vendors who come on-site to do specialized work, and evaluate potential new equipment or supplies for the building.
Determines need for outside contractors to be involved in construction projects
Prepare reports of departmental activities as requested.
Participates in departmental and interdepartmental planning and management teams and work cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization, and assist other facilities as required.
Maintain safety in all maintenance works.
Provide around the clock maintenance for the facility.
Any task assigned by Management

Educational Requirements
B.Sc Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics) from BUET/ CUET/ KUET/ RUET with good academic background.

Experience Requirements
12 to 15 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
12-15 years work experience in Textile Industry will be given preference.
Possess excellent understanding, written and oral communication in English.
Committed, independent & self driven.
Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to travel various factories.
Problem solving with foreign suppliers and machinery dealers.
Have hands on experience with problem solving skills and capability to generate alternative solutions.
Excellent leadership and team building skills.
