We are urgently looking for a Protection Technical Team Leader for our Teknaf programme in the Rohingya Refugee Response in Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of Oxfam protection activities in Teknaf and provide technical guidance to other sectoral teams in applying safe-programming standards in their activities, throughout the programme cycle.
• Recruit, induct, manage and organise team of protection staff, and work with community volunteers
• Maintain a strong protection analysis in the field; and share this to inform Oxfam’s context analysis (ongoing), program development, risk analyses prior to the implementation of program activities, and policy/advocacy work; make recommendations as needed to ensure protection concerns are addressed
• Participate in assessments or evaluative activities and protection focused research, as requested **
