Job Description / Responsibility
• This position is for knitting unit of composite knit garments industry.
• As a Fabric Technical Manager your job role will involve providing technical support to the design and/or fabrics production team, developing new fabrics based on fashion trends and working closely with the knitting factories, sourcing yarns, undertaking quality evaluations of yarns and checking the quality of the grey & finished fabrics and be responsible for bulk submission and the care label process for each customer. To support the knitting factory on technical aspects (i.e. on operations/processes, machine, quality standards, and material).

Educational Requirements
B. Sc. in Textile technology, major in Fabric manufacturing technology/ Knitting from BUTEX/ AUST or any reputed university.

• Age 38 to 42 year(s)
• Candidate should have 10 to 15 years’ working experience as the Production Manager (of knit fabrics manufacturing) in the knitting units of reputed composite knit garments industries.
• Should have sound knowledge & experience on various types of yarns & fabric development, teamwork, communication, interpersonal, creativity, analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
• Should have knowledge of modern production concepts & technology principles and practices to handle production & quality requirements of reputed branded buyers.
• Should have an exceptional eye for knitting technical detail and be able to consistently ensure the high standards of the knitted fabrics that will be produced in the factory.
• A good awareness of technical testing of knit fabrics and general technical knowledge with strong practical skills.
• Should have proven problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
• Should have Strong communication and computer/systems skills.
• Capable to handle high working load.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
