Job Description / Responsibility
• Ensure all samples request are executed on time and match with Buyer’s instructions & requirement (in quality and aesthetic);
• Study washing request carefully and clarity all points prior to washing process;
• Monitor to ensure all wash developed into target cost and can be replicated into bulk production;
• Responsible for recipe writing based on the wet/dry process requirement and explain to Laundry operator the process and ensure clear understanding;
• Follow-up of samples at every stage of wet/dry process and take responsibility for quality and timely execution of the samples;
• Contribute to meet the targets of wash team e.g. minimum rejection rate and development pick% etc;
• Maintain & manage a clear and reliable recording system includes details like wash formula, maintenance of database…etc;
• Oversee to ensure on time delivery of washing sample;
• Establish solid and constructive collaboration with all parties involved in the process: buyers, fabric team, QA and wherever necessary;
• Proactively advise if any possible difficulties to handle a particular wash in production;
• Communicate closely with Merchandising team to ensure good understanding on product requirement & delivery schedule;
• Advice merchandising team in advance to go for Lab Test; if a wash is suspected to not pass quality standard. E.g. low tear strength, poor light fastness etc;
• Constantly look for innovative and cost effective method of achieving a wash;
• Bring in creative ideas and new techniques to make seasonal collections;
• Any other assignments and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Additional Job Requirements
• Strong technical knowledge of Denim washes, garment dying and latest dry process techniques;
• Should have adequate knowledge and expertise on garment dying and over dying process;
• Exceptional business writing skills and can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate with buyers and suppliers via e-mails independently;
• Expertise on Microsoft office applications with excellent PC knowledge;
• Ability to handle workload and manage multiple tasks at a time under stressed environment.
• Minimum 8 years related experiences covered Denim;
• Solid experience in Production Management (Washing), Quality Control/Audit.
