Job Description / Responsibility
• Keep the inventory of all the new R&Ds including dye receipts, printing methods, embroidery etc.
• Identify suitable supply sources to ensure sustainable fashion input on high quality level
• Research and discover new processes and materials and introduce those to the Merchandising teams
• Support the Technical Director in setting of guidelines for evaluation of new processes and materials
• Support/provide suggestions for Improvement of products
• Follow up the regular lab test reports and review failed test reports, give recommendation for improvement
• Support the Technical Director in setting of guidelines for evaluation of materials suppliers
• Troubleshooting in form of concrete processes and recipes and in important cases also helping the supplier on the shop floor in person
• Carry out factory evaluation and conduct fabric mill quality evaluation on a yearly basis
• Support the Technical Director in setting a fabric mill quality manual on how to manage and monitor fabric quality to meet company`s quality level
• Train and follow up with fabric mill on achieving our quality requirement
• Train the merchandising and QA/QC departments on some key fabric quality topics

Graduation form textile engineering preferred.
