Job Description / Responsibility
The position requires – mainstreaming violence survivors through Networking with GOB and private sector, building confidence, create livelihood opportunity, capacity building for survivors and bring advocacy and campaign issues from community level. Also requires to linking support violence survivors linking with legal aid providing organization for ensuring justice of survivors. S/he will be directly reporting to the project coordinator of the SHE Can Project.
Responsibilities:
Maintain continuous liaison and coordination with different stakeholders i.e. media, local government, lawyers, market and transport authority, civil society actors, service providing organization etc.
Frequent Field visit is required to observe and monitor the SHE CAN Project Progress
Provide strategic direction to field facilitators to achieve project goal
Organize and facilitate capacity building trainings and workshops
Facilitate the action plans of the Community Watch Group (CWG) and stimulate SVAW network members
Prepare monthly report , quality report, change stories, best practices on women rights and Stop Violence against women (SVAW) issues
Take initiatives to provide emergency support to violence survivor, link them with legal support providing organization and monitor this whole process
Facilitate Campaign on SVAW&G issues i.e. OBR, IWD, 16 Days of Activism at district level align with national issue

Good understanding on gender mainstreaming in programmes specially on sensitivity to deal with violence survivors
Minimum 2 years experience in development field
Good team player
Excellent inter-personal communication skills, excellent verbal and written skills both in Bengali & English
Work under pressure
Facilitation skill on violence against women and girls issues
Skills in developing alliances and networking within like-minded organizations to form the platform
Team building spirit and capacity to work under pressure in time of emergency of VAW cases
Computer skill MS Office, Excel, power point and Internet Explorer
Clear understanding of Human Rights, Women’s rights
