Job Description / Responsibility
• Provide IT related services to the Mahmud Group and hub under the minimal supervision. Plan, design, setup & maintain the IT Infrastructure in the head office & factories.
• Design, implementation and maintenance of office LAN, servers, workstations and other equipments and services.
• LAN setup and maintenance in Windows/ Linux platform (appx 300+ workstations)
• Strong knowledge on Hardware (i.e. PC, Laptop, Printer, UPS (Online/ Offline), etc) configuration, maintenance & trouble shooting.
• Should have practical working experience on TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, E-mail-DNS-Proxy-web servers, firewall using IPTables/ACL/ Mikrotik Rules, Linux/Windows System Administration and Sound working knowledge in multi-server, multi-operating systems network.
• Highly skilled on troubleshooting networking problems including e-mail, DNS, proxy, web, firewall, OS systems, system security, availability and performance.
• Should have experience in configuring Cisco/ Mikrotik Router/Switches, cabling, Crimping/ clamping, leased line, server rack, patch panel, IPCAM/CCCAM/ NVR/DVR/ Access Control/ Biometric devices, other IT related equipments, etc.
• Good knowledge & experience on WAN/MAN/WLAN/Access Point/Wi-Fi, audio/ video conference system etc would be a plus.
• Clear concept & knowledge/ expertise on ERP Implementation & requirement gathering.
• Knowledge/ experience on cloud computing, VLAN, optical fiber cabling, SAN, NAS, DAS would be a very good plus.
• Ensuring power backup, data backup, disk backup, data recovery and good knowledge on RAID control (Hardware/ software).
• Maintain & monitor data connectivity (from head office to factory offices) under VPN or any long distance broadband Internet connection.
• Configure & Maintain shared resources (e.g. File/ data Server, Oracle DBMS/ Fusion Middleware, Application Server, print Server, etc.) both in Linux/ Windows platform.
• Configure, Administer & Manage Anti-virus software in proper manner (Server & Workstations) and ensure routine virus database update & scanning on batch process
• Conduct user training & manage helpdesk support when required.
• Maintain ICT assets & ICT policy.

Educational Requirements
BSC in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or minimum Diploma in CSE (for exceptional & experienced candidate) or other relevant field having vendor certification (e.g. MCSA/ RHCE/ CCNA/ CCNP/ OCDBA, etc.) would be a plus.
