Job Description / Responsibility
• Manage maintenance, Oiling, installations and Servicing of all Vehicles & Equipment such as: bus, truck, Car, Crane etc.
• Plan regular scheduled workdays for preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow and perform the petrol/diesel/lubricant filling mechanism approved by the Management.
• Coordinate with foreman, machinist, mechanic, fitter, supervisor, driver and cleaner for smooth maintenance.
• Maintain repairing, servicing, fuel consumption, and spare parts records.
• Ensure the scheduled checks on vehicle and spare parts and Check the vehicle physically before prepared spare parts requisition.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly stocks of spare parts, fuel, oil, lubricants; ensure timely requisition at the Head Office.
• Ensuring payment of all Maintenance & Repair related bills with due verification.
• Train employees and Drivers to meet operations requirement as well as technological advancement.
• Testing vehicles both before and after repair.
• Manage Work Schedule/Duty Chart/log book for all Drivers/Operators/Assistants/Cleaners.
• Implementing Transport policy approved by the Management.
• Keep records/history of Drivers and Accidents.
• Keep update on the vehicle documents (tax token, fitness, insurance etc) and make necessary arrangement of new vehicle registration.
• Maintain liaison and coordination with BRTA, local police, industrial police, government agencies and other parties in relation to smooth operations of Transport departments.
• Keep all existing license/Certificates up to date and also obtain new license as and when required.
• Ensure proper inventory of all components of vehicles are maintained and checked frequently.
• Propose improvements in the existing transport system.
• Submit regular and comprehensive monthly report in relation with transport maintenance, fuel consumption, inclusion of any new vehicle, license/Certificates registration, safety & security of the vehicle etc.
• Monitor and Manage Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) and Inventory Management Systems.
• Candidate should have skill to run most modern automotive workshop.

Educational Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Automobile Engineering. Candidate from any public institution will be given more preference.

• Applicant must have experience in managing Transport/Logistic Maintenance Department in any prominent Local or Multinational Company.
