Job Description / Responsibility
• Acknowledgement of the order quantity in advance for making production plan and to liaise with the top Management to give necessary directives to the production team of the unit.
• Handle complete cutting, sewing, Finishing till shipment with daily process data & records as per factory SOP .
• Plan, develop, optimize, organize, direct, manage, evaluate, and accountable for all processes of the factory.
• Must have skill & sound knowledge to enable lean management deployment in apparel industry.
• Sound knowledge on lean & statistical tools like VOC , CTP, CTQ , Process design , measuring Process capability & process capacity .
• Cost control, operational excellence, efficiency, timely delivery and Quality output.
• Good analytical skills to measure process data & establish control for a robust manufacturing process.
• To give necessary directives to Production & Quality team for mass production & Quality Assurance for each order.
• To keep close eyes in order to attain acceptable production limit and to ensure about the implementation of the production schedule.
• Having clear idea about the quality of garments with technical knowledge to guide the subordinates to take necessary corrective action.
• To implement price-controlled policy in every stage of production, so that production cost is reduced.
• To make necessary arrangement of training for the subordinates in order to increase the production capability by following modern production procedure.
• To follow up the production schedule to keep the supply chain in a optimum level.
• To take the responsibility during an audit by the buyer regarding compliance issues.
• To take all necessary safety measures in connection with the production.
• To take necessary measures with the Admin, HR & Compliance Dept. in order to uphold human rights and development of human resources.
• To ensure the duties and responsibilities of subordinates as vested on them according to the organizational policy.
• To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team.
• To take an active role to implement factory policy & procedures.
• Provide guideline & full phase support to factory team through regular meeting ( daily / weekly /monthly ).
• Understand factory needs, maintain and develop positive business relationships with all department key personnel involved in factory all activities.
• Collaborate with senior management and decision makers to share information for problem solving .
• To maintain confidentiality of Companies information and documents strictly and sincerely.
• Tact fully handle all kind of worker/ labor related issues.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the management
