Job Description / Responsibility
• Recently, PCP and IGH received grant from Medical Research Council, UK for a research project ‘The Bangladesh D-Magic Trial: Diabetes Mellitus Action through Groups or Information for better Control’ The project will be implemented in 4 upazilas (Nagarkanda, Modhukhali, Saltha and Boalmari) of Faridpur district. Each Supervisor is responsible for one Upazila. PCP is seeking for 02 Field Supervisors for its The Bangladesh D-Magic Trial project. The Field Supervisor will be responsible for coordination and implementation of survey (data collection) related activities in 4 Upazilas of Faridpur.
• Supervise the data collector’s activities at the field level.
• To ensure that the data collectors are collecting data appropriately.
• To ensure & supervise that physical measurements & blood sugar measurements are carried out properly by the data collectors
• Provide appropriate & necessary support at field level when needed
• The candidate should have sound knowledge on checking research questionnaire and providing feedback.
• Report writing
• Duration: 4 months
• Job Nature: Employment will be offered for a period of 04 months and will start from 1st November, 2015
• Job Location: Faridpur district, with field visit to rural areas of 4 upazilas mentioned above.

University degree in any discipline.
Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
• Applicants should have at least 3 years’ experience in Field Supervisor position with any development/ research organization.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and feel comfortable in a community setting
• Ability to travel in rural areas using motor cycle/public transport
• Willingness to learn and develop skills
• Good reporting skill
