HR Officer – Dhaka – GILDAN Shahriyar Fabric Industries Ltd

Job Description / Responsibility
Carry out activities of employee discipline, grievances, motivation, and welfare.
Update all documentation and look after legal matters.
Develop good and reliable Employees & Employer Industrial Relation.
Handle labor disputes and ensure compliance with the disciplinary process.
Maintain close communication with the legal advisory, ensuring the delivery of all documentation required in handling labor cases.
Perform the processes of terminations of employment contracts.
Perform on the system the terminations of the employees’ contract.
Calculate the employment benefits and ensure the correct application of the law.
Refer to the Chief Inspector the following information: Communications of warnings and terminations of contracts.
Make the exit interview and keep up date an exit interview report.
Coordinate the application of the absenteeism procedure or policy.
Coordinate any motivational program related to absenteeism.
Give support to the HR General Manager in how to handle all grievance procedures or policy: suggestion box, open door policy, etc.

Educational Requirements
MBA (Major in HRM)/ Minimum Master Degree from any discipline with 01 year PGDHRM/ PGDPM from BIM or from any recognized institute.

Experience Requirements
2 to 3 year(s)

Factory HR Administration, Labor Union Management, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments

Additional Job Requirements
Age 25 to 30 year(s)
Only males are allowed to apply.
Candidates must have at least 02 years practical experience in Factory HR & Administration.
Must have Factory HR experience especially in Labor Relations or in Compliance.
Should have experienced in Factory HR, Admin & Compliance in Garments Industries.
Incumbent should be strong, mentally & physically, to manage a large composite factory.
Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law and other applicable laws & regulations.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and good public relation.
Any previous training on Social Compliance/ Legal/ Environmental standards will be added advantage.
Fluency in spoken & written English is essential.
Drafting both Bengali and English is must.
Computer knowledge is must.
