Job Description / Responsibility
• VSOB is recruiting 30 In-country Youth Volunteer for the next cycle of ICS2 Project.
• In-Country Youth Volunteer [It`s a volunteer role, not employment]
• Duration: 3 months; 15 September to 14 December 2016.
• Location: Anywhere in Khulna, Bagerhat and Dinajpur
• Main Responsibilities:
• Share cross cultural experiences with international volunteer from the UK
• Work very closely with international volunteers to plan, implement, and evaluate youth action projects in the community.
• Take the chance to bring changes in livelihood development and sexual reproductive health rights of the community youth.
• Take active part in field research, needs assessment/social mapping, project design, project planning, organizing event and community action day, monitoring, case study collection, report writing, documentation and evaluation of project.

Educational Requirements
Educational background from Social Science, business management/governance, development or related subject will be preferred. Students are also encouraged to apply who can manage the time for 03 months.
Additional Job Requirements
• Age 19 to 28 year(s)
• Willingness to stay in selected region of Bangladesh for 12 weeks without any break/interruption.
• A clear interest in community development and proactive towards development of marginalized people.
• Committed and proactive to work in a multi-cultural team.
• Interested in sharing cross-cultural experience with UK volunteers and other counterparts
• Habituated/interested to reside in remote villages with simple accommodation, food and with other facilities.
• Be committed to share experiences with team members and be proactive in carrying out action in respective local community after completion of the project.
• Average communication skill in English
