Job Description / Responsibility
• Monitor and analyse contextual developments, and keep the PC well informed of the situation.
• To provide on cultural appropriateness of organizational and individual activities.
• To submit update news/information on the political and humanitarian issues on Bangladesh context PC on a regular basis
• Assist in safe-guarding and promoting MSF’s image internally and externally
• Develop and maintain appropriate contact to all relevant authorities, religious, political social groups functioning in the area, in order to ensure our neutral, impartial, and independent function in the area.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and the development of mission and project security plans
• Ensure a proper information network system for security related issues and immediately shares its findings with the PC
• To provide the knowledge of appropriateness of raising awareness of sensitive advocacy issues, identified through the day to day workings of the programme, with the relevant authorities
• Act as liaison of the PC to government authorities and other relevant official bodies
• As member of the project management team, contribute to operational decision-making in the project.
• To provide an effective and efficient support in PC’s organisational
• and operational role and in the day to day management and implementation of the programme/project
• To ensure transparency of the program through attendance at relevant meetings, carrying out presentations, preparing and ensuring the distribution of reports, developing literature explaining our services etc.
• To provide accurate written and verbal translation and interpretation when required.
• Provide administrative support to the PC.
• Provide a monthly report to PC on the work done during the month
• Join assessment teams in Bangladesh for emergency explo’s

• Excellent understanding of MSF’s principles and values
• Excellent communication skills, both written and orally

• Excellent negotiation skills + extensive negotiation experience
• In-depth contextual knowledge
• High level of knowledge of local culture and customs
• National / passport holder of Bangladesh
