• The Lidia May Artisan Program empowers women and girls in the urban slums by offering home-based work opportunities and behavioral change communication. To become a Lidia May Artisan, women / girls must successful graduate from the Embroidery Artisan Training program by our non-profit partner the Lidia Hope Centre Trust (LHCT). The Artisan program focuses on developing both professional skills and essential life skills that will enable our Artisans to take steps out of the slums.

Job Description / Responsibility
• You will be working with Production Supervisors to oversee the set up and running of Lidia May Artisan Centers in the slums. Your specific responsibilities include:
• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders: Artisans, their families, area people
• Identify needs of Artisans, then design and conduct weekly life skills training in collaboration with LHCT
• Motivate and encourage Artisans through activities that recognize progress and achievements in their work
• Prepare weekly reports about Artisan Center activities
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with Head Office
• Assist the company wherever needed in maintaining and improving Artisan Center operations

• YOUR PROFILE
• A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in projects directed to women/girls or vocational training
• have experience as an NGO Field or Project Organizer, Program Officer/Manager
• a proven record for meeting targets on time and with high accuracy
• You have an eye for detail and quality
• MS word & Excel proficiency, prepared reports in Bangla or English
• Written and oral fluency in Bangla, comfortable working in English
