Job Description / Responsibility
Oversee different community engagement programs, monitor their progress and identify possible areas of improvement
Communicate with NGOs, Government bodies, Industry Cluster members, Business Associations, knowledge partners etc., for projects running in collaboration and strategic partnership. Conduct surveys and interviews in community level
Conduct research on community preparedness as a part of the feasibility study ahead of planning and implementing any project in the community
Disseminate information/ research findings and prepare reports on the progress to the Sustainability Department
Prepare and distribute materials to sensitize the community residents on a particular topic
Visit community members/ residents to garner their feedbacks and concerns; find new areas of focus where the organization could be involved in community development
Conduct community meetings to update residents on special events and development programs as necessary

Educational Requirements
Masters (Preferably in Social Science Discipline) from a reputed University

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
The individual must have previous experience of field work in the rural community
The individual must be energetic, proactive, independent and deadline driven
A sound understanding of the local economic, cultural and political environment
Excellent verbal and writing communication skill both in English and Bengali
Excellent in Project Management
Candidate with a background in the education and development sector will be preferred
Be flexible with travel plans to different parts of Gazipur and other parts of the country (if required)
