Programme Support Officer – Dhaka – Concern Worldwide

Job Description / Responsibility
• Based in the Head Office, Dhaka
• The Project Support Officer (National) reports to the Project Support Officer (International) and will work with Concern Bangladesh`s contextual programmes to develop and document quality programmes. This will include facilitating the development of contextual analyses, programme and project proposals, reporting to donors on project progress and documenting the learning from and impact of Concern Worldwide`s work in Bangladesh. He/she will also provide any other documentation support to the Senior Management Team (SMT) as required.
• Major Areas of Responsibility:
• Contextual Analysis and Studies: To support the programme and M&E teams to prepare high quality report on contextual analysis and studies conducted to support programme/project design.
• Programme and Project design: To support programme team in programme/project design and development and proposal writing.
• Donor Reporting- To support the development of high quality and timely donor and head office`s reports for the Contextual Programmes as well as the Country Programme.
• Documenting Impact-
• i) To develop high quality visibility materials to demonstrate the impact and innovations of Concern Worldwide, Bangladesh.
• ii) Assist the SMT and Communication Coordinator to develop case studies, factsheets, strategy papers, process documentation, position papers and lessons learned documentation

Educational Requirements
Master`s Degree in Development Studies, Communications or a similar field

Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
• At least 03 years practical experience working in the development field
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Proven experience of high quality report writing
• Proven experience in proposal writing, development of log-frames and budgets
• Strong computer skills particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Familiarity with the project management cycle
• Experience of project budgeting, and grant and contract administration
• Experience in design of communications materials: brochures, website content, infographics
