Job Description / Responsibility
Dhaka Ahsania Mission is going to recruit the following vacancy under ‘DRR/ Resilience/ DIPECHO project’ project. The Resilience/ DRR/ DP project will be implemented under HIP-2015 call of the European Commission. The project will be implemented by Dhaka Ahsania Mission funded by ECHO supported by Concern Universal Bangladesh. We are inviting applications from qualified candidate for the above position.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Project Team in all the required tasks,
Assist with the planning and implementation of DRR project activities and logistical arrangements,
Oversee training of the beneficiaries in disaster preparedness, mitigation and response,
Oversee and upgrading of Community based institutions and facilitate CRA process
Support and Facilitate the involvement of ward disaster Management Committees to develop and implement disaster risk reduction activities,
Establish and implement a system to quickly disseminate messages from the ward and school Disaster Preparedness Units to the community
Solid project management skills related to organizational development of projects and cross-functional teams with a proven history of delivering results.
Substantial experience and knowledge of effective financial and budgetary control,
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to demonstrate skills in leading a team,
Leadership skills, including ability to supervise and motivate staffs with strong professional values.
Ensure the proper reporting & documentation of the project,

5 years relevant working experience in Urban Areas.
