• Rana Plaza Disaster’ Phase II (LES) Project
• Department : Justice for Excluded and Marginalised (JEM)

• Duration : 11 (Eleven) Months
• Job Summary: The incumbent is designated to supervise and monitor the field activities implementation of the project. She/he is responsible for monitoring partner/vendor/consultant to fulfill the monthly, bimonthly and annual targets. Her/his tasks include organizing advocacy workshop/lobby meetings, documentation etc. She/he is responsible for regular field visit to Savar and other areas to supervise partner/vendor/consultant and ensure quality deliverables. She/he will contribute to prepare monthly/bi-monthly field reports and project progress report. She/he is also responsible for maintaining liaison and communication with potential the relevant stakeholders for achieving the project targets.
• Key responsibilities include (not limited to):
• Supervision and Monitoring Project Implementation:
• Supervise the activities of partner/consultant and scrutinize partner’s reports.
• Regular field visit to Savar and adjacent areas (at least 50% of the staff time) to supervise the field activities of partner and ensure quality deliverables. If required, the staff will have to be stationed at Savar.
• Monitor partner/vendor/consultant to fulfill the monthly, bimonthly and annual targets.
• Track development of programme participants and maintain and update project database.
• Ensure regular fund disbursement to the partner organization.
• Liaison and Communication:
• Maintain relationship and communication with the partner organization
• Maintain liaison and communication with potential employers and service providers, NSDC, Rana Plaza Coordination Cell and Local Administration.
• Maintain relationship and communication with relevant stakeholders (Other GO Offices, NGOs, different Networks and Forums)
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Preparing monthly field reports
• Contribute to prepare bi-monthly project progress reports and project completion report
• Prepare presentations, as and when required
• Prepare list and contacts of prospective employers and assist PM/In-charge to establish contact with them
• Provide contents for IEC materials following the outline from PM/In-charge
• Event Management:
• Assist Project Manager/ In-charge in organizing stakeholders workshop, lobby meeting.
• Organize field trip for the donor, Govt. AAB management where required.
• Provide support to the partners/consultants for arranging psychosocial support, counseling and skill development training for the programme participants.
• Relationships: S/he will report to ‘Project Manager/Project In-Charge’ of ActionAid Bangladesh. S/he is expected to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers in team, priority and project management team. S/he must be able to communicate with other teams and units, both programme and function.

• Graduation in Social Science or Relevant Discipline
• Training on Project Management, Labour Policy, Disability & Inclusion, Counselling will get preference
Experience Requirements
2 to 3 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
• At least 2 – 3 of working experience in relevant field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill both in Bangla and English
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skill
• Competency in report writing
• Excellent presentation skill
