Job Description / Responsibility
• Should have sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, amendment act 2013, Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015.
• To counsel the workers on general issues like, company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and discipline.
• Must be able to ensure good relationship between workers and management.
• Must be a good counselor and daily counseling to the workers in order to achieving organizational goal.
• To counsel the absentee workers as referred by HR section, in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover.
• To counsel workers on disciplinary issues.
• To counsel workers on healthy workplace, safety health & hygiene issues.
• To make them aware in relation to their reports & privilege, employment rules, terms & conditions.
• To make them aware on productivity consciousness and Quality Assurance improvement.
• To provide guidance/ assistance in view to provide them due leave, incentives and any other legal benefits as applicable by law.
• To provide them guidance/assistance in availing Medical services, Housing, Education, Canteen facilities and their legal assistance.
• Maintain various types of register (Maternity Leave register, Grievance handling register, Orientation training register, various types of awareness register etc.)
• To lead the participation committee and conduct meeting as per legal requirements.
• Able to face various types of Compliance Audit (BSCI, C-TPAT, WRAP, SEDEX & ICS etc.).
• Well conversant with buyer compliance & code of conduct.
