Job Description / Responsibility
• Direct and manage plant operation.
• Implementation of cost effective systems to control capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
• Application of knowledge for processes, equipment and system capability to set challenging individual and facility standards.
• Help and assist management in selecting machinery and equipment and plant layout designing as and when required.
• Control production cost and increase profitability through efficient use/ utilization of resources available.
• Give directions to the Production personnel in supervising plant production activities and in compliance with established standards, procedures, cost and quality control?
• Give directions to the Quality Control Manager to achieve quality indices and highest quality standards of the Company?
• Plan maintenance management with Maintenance team to ensure trouble free operations. He is also to help to procure and that maintain adequately inventory of spares and procurement of machinery and equipment as and when required?
• Direct and coordinate all activities of the plant in accordance with approved policies and procedures and to be responsible for the progress and results of the plant?
• Prepare and provide necessary information, productivity data, operation performance to the management on regular basis.
• Collaborate and ensure strong relationships with other functions of the organization?
• Handle people from government, certification body, local authority, foreign visitors, foreign suppliers.

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering.

• 15 to 20 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Operation
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies

Additional Job Requirements
• Age At most 45 year(s)
• Preference will be given people having working experience in Snacks/ Food processing industry.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work on flexible hours and willing to travel extensively.
• Fluent in English.
