Giant Agro Processing Limited – GAPL is an agro based company involved in the production, processing, preservation, storage and marketing of seeds. GAPL is a sister concern of the Giant Group, a leading business house in Bangladesh.

Job Description / Responsibility
• Plan & Execute Potato plantlet production program in under Guidence of Superior.
• Execute Minituber and Breeder Seed Production under net house under Guidence of Superior.
• Perform all activities of tissue culture lab such as-stock solution preparation, media preparation, inoculation of explant, sub-culturing, culture room management etc. through standard operation procedure.
• Maintain and make proposal for necessary rectification of major tissue culture activities
• Travel shooting of tissue culture related prolems such as- contamination, overgrouth etc.
• Hardening of plantlet under field condition with minimum morlality .
• Record keeping, pedigree and purity maintenance of source materials.
• Out sourcing and collection of high quality initial materials (Potato tuber) for next year production program.
• Maintain chain of command properly.
• Look after all the asset and machineries under your supervision.
• Generate the related reports in job area as and when required.
• Perform any other job as assigned by Superior.

Educational Requirements
Diploma in Agriculture / BSc in Botany having relevant experience

• At least 5 year(s)

Plant Breeding
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Job Requirements
• Age 24 to 30 year(s)
• Only males are allowed to apply.
Atleast 5 years experience in lab
