Job Description / Responsibility
• Supervise the melting operation
• Select scrap and charge the scrap, sponge iron, cast iron into the furnace accordingly
• Melting the raw materials in optimum time and to achieve maximum lining life of the furnace
• Keep sintering scrap separately for sintering
• Supervise furnace lining works
• Before tapping check ladle thoroughly
• Charge Ferro chemical as per requirement
• Communication and coordination with CCM and ladle section
• Checking of technical specifications, data and test reports etc.
• Providing guidance and technical advice to the subordinates
• Allocate duty to subordinate and man management
• Maintain shop floor housekeeping
• All raw materials and chemicals receiving and unloading in particular place
• Any other duty assigned by the management
• Report to higher management through proper channel time to time

Educational Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Masters in Chemist

• At least 5 year(s)

• Good interpersonal skills & hardworking.
