Job Description / Responsibility
• Make appropriate immobilization device and do CT simulation, perform 4DCT and assist oncologist in planning.
• Maintain and check treatment records and do offline verification.
• To explain patient and psychologically counsel them regarding the course and procedure involved in radiation therapy treatment
• Train and updating healthcare, scientific and technical staff on safe and efficient use of linear accelerator (True beam, CLINAC, CTSIM), conduct presentations relating to radiation therapy
• Planning and ensuring safe and accurate treatment of patients
• Managing radiotherapy quality assurance programmes
• Assist and perform QA, patient specific QA
• Supervise appointment scheduling on VARIAN OIS
• Deliver high end treatment as SRT, SBRT, GATED THERAPY, RAPID ARC, IMRT, 3DCRT precisely after image verification using OBI
• Providing advice about radiation protection
• Maintaining equipment
• Mathematical modelling
• Writing reports

Educational Requirements
• Bachelor/ Master in Medical Radiation Technology, additional training/ certification will be added advantage.
• Clinical training; security clearance for certain government-related positions; state licensure in some cases.

• Should have a minimum 5 years of professional working experience in a Hospital/ Clinic/ Diagnostic sectors of which a minimum 2 years hands on working experience in handling True Beam/ Linear Accelerator machine.

• Should have good command on English both in speaking and writing
